Gifts to Literacy Volunteers are 100% tax deductible.
Literacy Volunteers of Washington County depends on individual donations, as well as grants from corporations and foundations, to keep our free programs and services available to all. LVWC offers programs in basic English literacy, English for speakers of other languages, citizenship preparation, job training, college prep, and GED support.

Your donation to the Annual Appeal also helps fund the Bob Richins Scholarship. Since its establishment in 2016, eight out of eleven recipients have put their award money towards the US citizenship exam, while the rest have used it to further their education.
